O.T. good feeling on former car

I sold a 60 Chrysler to a guy in St. Louis, MO in 2003. I got an email a week later saying the car drove well from Minnesota to Missouri. That was my last connection with him. Today I got an email saying how much he has enjoyed the car over the past 7 years. What a good feeling - having been a less than satisfied buyer of a collector car in the past it makes me feel good I had a well satisfied buyer.

Nice to get a good reply.

I'd be interested in knowing where some of my previous old cars ended

up and what's been done to them. But no clue where most of them went.

Wow, that is nice. I run into the guy I bought my 49 Plymouth from on occasion at the local parts storeo. Turns out I moved a few blocks away from where he lives. Wish I could see the Plymouth again though...man, I was a nervous wreck when the guy who bought it took it for a test drive! It was the only time I ever wished the car had seatbealts!;)

I hate seeing stuff I've sold, I usually regret selling and seeing them makes me miss them more. I wished I could have kept them all!

A '52 Cranbrook I sold in the late 1980's showed-up on eBay about a year ago. The guy I sold it to was finally selling it. I called and spoke to him about it...he enjoyed the car and didn't regret owning it. It was hard not to buy it back, but I am comfortable with my decision not to bid.
