The wiring on my car is in sad shape and it's next on my list. I was thinking about possibly buying a painless kit or an equvalent. I'd like to hear from some that have used the kit or even an alternative. I don't want to go back to cloth. I have seen kits cheaper but wonder about quality.

I have helped a few guys rewire there cars.. el camino,, old jag,, and a50's chevy .. the kits were really easy to do... pretty good instructions ,, and wires are marked really well ..I don't know about the ones for these cars ,, but i think they should work out ok ..thinking of using one for my car when i get that far.. tired of using ones from junk yard ,, and having to tear it apart and making up a new cartoon so i know where i'm at ..

I have given thought to buying some wire and taking a fuse pannel outta something newer.

I picked one up from Rebel Wire. Looks like it should work out. I plan on installing it in April. There will be a few mods I'm sure I'll have to do but everything is marked well and covers all your basic needs. Reasonable price, too.
