aero3113 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Check out the oil pan plug that came on my NOS pan from vintage power wagons. Is this so the enemy will not drain the oil during the battle LoL. Quote
LuckyDevil Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Looks like a gas tank plug to me? Reminds me of the nasty stuff I had to drain out of the Windsor. STANKY! Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Does that plug come with a special tool to turn it? Quote
Merle Coggins Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Looks to be 8 sided. A 1/2" square drive would probably fit in there unless they used an odd size square. Merle Quote
aero3113 Posted February 5, 2010 Author Report Posted February 5, 2010 No Bob, it did not come with a tool. I am using the plug from my old pan. It looks like a big torx head might work. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Torx is a 6 pointed tool, you have an 8 pointed plug. Like I said, a square drive will work just fine. Try a 3/8" or 1/2" socket extension and see if it fits in there. Merle Quote
