When I got my truck the floor pans were loose in the cab. When I attempted to bolt a couple of them down I struggled to find bolts that would screw into the speedy nuts. Then this weekend I was disassembling the nose pieces and removed the lower and side radiator air deflectors. There were 3 bolts that held the lower piece to the grill that had a VERY coarse thread. I found that these also screwed into the floor clips.

Are these bolts available anywhere? I haven't checked with my local bolt suppliers (Fastenal, etc) yet, but was hoping you all could provide a little guidance.

I think those are the 5/16 with 10 thread-per-in. I've called a few screw/nut/bolt distributors just using google - then selecting the closest to my area - then giving them a call. Most times I got a "Huh?" response. I'd like to find some as the black stainless.

Merle,

If you don't find the bolts and nuts you're looking for and can wait until the end of April, you can find them at the Jefferson swap meet. That is April 28th and 29th this year. There are a several vendors out there that only deal in fasteners of all kinds. Also, I'm sure the guy at the Ford Barn would have them available too. He usually has his booth in main building each year. It's in the back NW corner of the room. Can't miss him because he also has his trailer parked in the corner of his booth. He's usually at the Jackson swap meet too in the second isle inside the main building. Again, you can't miss him because the trailer will be parked in his booth in the building. That's at the Jackson, WI fairgrounds. It will be the last weekend of this month I believe. You can call the fairgrounds for the exact date, or check out the classified ads under Classic Cars For Sale. Should be an ad in there with the date. The fairgrounds is actually the Washington County Fairgrounds, so you may have to call them.
