P-12 Tommy Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) Hey guys, Anybody out there got a line on some trim clips. Especially for the heart shaped outer trim. I've been looking, but can't seem to find the correct clips. All you '41 owners know what I'm talking about. All help is appreciated. BTW.....I'm also looking for the driver side vertical long stainless piece. Thanks,Tom Edited November 12, 2009 by P-12 Tommy Quote
Jim Yergin Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 Tom, I couldn't find any when I was putting my '41 together. I ended up fabricating the fasteners for the trim surround on the front of my '41. I used pieces of sheet metal cut to the size and shape I wanted, drilled a hole put a bolt through it then tack welded it together. Then I ground the head of the bolt down so that the piece would slide into the trim. Worked well for me and the trim has stayed put for over a year now. Jim Yergin Quote
