For the Milwaukee area/SE Wisc guys... August 9th is the date for the Waukesha Old Car Club's Annual car show at Frame Park in Waukesha. I drive past this show almost every year and think that one of these times I'm going to attend or participate in it. Well I believe this is the year. I've been seeing their signs out for the upcoming show, so I looked it up and have found that I have that weekend open. I'll be sending in my preregistration and will take the Ol' Dodge over there for the show.

If anyone in the area is also interested, here's the links to their flier and registration form.

I'm not familiar with anything in Symco. That's up between Iola and Clintonville.

The Waukesha show is a 1 day only and runs from 8AM to 4PM on Aug 9th. If I were coming in on I94 from the west I would exit at Hwy 164 North/Cty J South, which is Exit #294. Then go south to the 3rd traffic light, which is Moreland Blvd. Turn left on Moreland and go down the hill, across North St and the Fox River. The park will be on your right. Or the next exit on I94 is #295 or Cty F. South on F (North St.) will also bring you to Moreland (Hwy 18 at that point). Left on Moreland, across the river to the park.

Back to the top as a reminder to the Upper Midwest guys.

The Waukesha Car Show is this coming Sunday (Aug 9th) at Frame Park in Waukesha. Dennis and I should both have our trucks there so stop in and say HI.

Well... it was a nice show until the storms rolled through. The wrapped it up early so the trailer queens could get to safety before they would get wet.

Dennis Sullivan drove his '49 Dodge truck down from MN (a 400+ mile trip without a problem), so between his truck and mine there were a total of 2 Dodge trucks at the show. There were several Mopar muscle cars, but the only Vintage Mopar I saw was a P15 (with no name on the windshield card)

Here's a few pics of what was interesting... to me anyway.

The P15

And on the other end of the spectrom... A Mini

Here's an interesting way to show off your engine without having the hood open.
