50% naptha and 50% mineral spirits, is what Dupli-color wax and grease cleaner is. This is very much available here in Canada.

You could try and add this to some wax, and see what you get

Norm, there is a local company(Waldorf MD) that make all kinds of wax and polish. They have a purple wax that is so great folks that have it only use it when they are going to big shows. It works very well on red and bright colors. I use it sometimes on my 1953 chevy truck. It is so bright that it makes seeing on a sunny day difficult. I hotter it is the better it shines. If your car is garaged the shine will last a very long time. The company is call Casso the guy's around here would go to a show and sell this spray detail(pink) and it worked very well. I found out later that they were buying large gallons of this and deluting it. The chemical in it's pure state is twice as good so I started buying it myself and using it pure.

All is not lost There are good products out there, this is why going to Carlise and other large swap meets you see products demonstated. They sometimes turn out to be fantastic.:)

Norm, I've been using this stuff along for the past few years.

A lot of carnuba in it. Also comes in a pink color. Sold at car

shows and swap meets usually. About $15 per bottle.

It ain't Kit (which I used to use), but not too bad.

I also like Meguiar's cleaner/wax in the maroon bottle.
