Jim Gaspard Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 My spring has sprung! Does anyone have a source for the spring located on the B3B column near steering box (engine compartment)? It provides tension for 3 on tree column shifter. Jim B3B in Dallas Quote
Ken_Hart Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 do you have a pic.. or explain where it goes. (mine did not have the motor or tranny in it) but since i am not going back to stock I may have the part you need if it is the same on a B1 Quote
Jim Gaspard Posted January 15, 2007 Author Report Posted January 15, 2007 Posted these to Photobucket this afternoon in the ice. There has to be a replacement spring source out there somewhere. Jim B3B in Dallas Quote
norrism1 Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Jim, Part number for the return spring is "1139-634". I don't have one at least you will have the number to ask for when you can find one. Norris Quote
Guest NAZGUL50 Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 I see that I have a spring, still on the shaft. If nothing else pops up for you, I'll get it off soon and see how good of a shape it's in. I'm a little slow right now, my friend's wife is in the hospital with complications with carrying twin boys. We suddenly have their 6 other kids to take in. As soon as I learn to herd cats, I'll get to the parts. Quote

MBF Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Bob: I think the factory 4 spd only gives you a 1:1 final drive out of the tranny just like the 3 spd. I may have a 4 spd to sell if you're interested-please email me. I'm located in NY state. Mike Quote
