jasonmrenda Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 hello everyone, well as much as i hate to do it, i need to sell my project. just not going to have the time and/funds to really get this done as i am discoveing how being a first-time Dad means garage time is at a minimum!! i am not sure if it is appropriate to post an ebay link here so if it is inappropriate please delet or let me know and i will delete it. the pics are huge so i dont want to upload them here. i will sell any parts seperately if anyone here needs them. just let me know. the ebay ad is just to try to sell the whole lot but i'll sell whatever i can. here is the ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DSelling&item=280329590107&viewitem= i am 12 miles north of boston and can deliver within reason. thank you - jason 617-216-7940 Quote
48Dodger Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 There is a "parts for sale" section on this site, but personally, I don't mind the Ebay notice threads. And in my opinion, part of being a great Dad is understanding the sacrafices needed to keep the family strong. Sorry to see the truck go, but I hope you dont' lose the "bug", never know when another chance may show up. 48D Quote
jasonmrenda Posted April 7, 2009 Author Report Posted April 7, 2009 thanks 48D, Part of the reason I am selling is also because I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with what needs and should be done. I am into this for 2k inc the engine and trans and sandblasting the frame, brake kit etc. which isnt a ton of cash. My concerns are just how many parts i'll need to buy to complete it and how long i'll need to save up to get them!!! Plus the wifey isnt too happy to have the cab sitting in the lawn!! I know the truck is sorta a rare-bird so i also go back and forth between street/rat rodding it or letting it go to someone who is much more capable than i to get it done nicely. any thoughts? thank you for the kind words about being a Dad - loving it so far! She just turned 10 months. Quote
jasonmrenda Posted April 7, 2009 Author Report Posted April 7, 2009 sorry to bump this again - feel free to delete this thread as i will move the thread to the parts section. somehow i missed it before? must be getting old... Quote
48Dodger Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 10 months?! wow...sounds like fun. lol. If you stay on the forum, keep learning, and enjoy the trucks being buildt, I think you'll find yourself back into another truck someday. My thoughts? Put it back "together" (ie get it off the lawn.lol), clean the garage so your wife can park her car inside and then find a "home" (your parking space in the garage?) for the 53' PH. Cover it in a nice looking truck cover and enjoy the "someday feelings" that comes with a project that's laying in wait. Hope it works out the way you want Jason. 48D incase you missed it...this was a thread i did on my son...shameless braggin'.lol http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=13844 Quote
