MBF Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 I know that either Grey Beard or Merle provided this during the last chat. I was told to write things down so I wouldn't forget them. I did write it down, but I can't remember what I did with the paper-I know I put it in a safe place! Anyway-I'm planning on tearing into the center section of my full floating 1 ton rear. Does anyone have the p/n's for the 2 carrier bearings and cones along with the pinion bearings (industry numbers are fine). I want to see if I can have the parts on the bench before I take it apart. Hopefully if I get the parts I won't lose them before I need them. Is there a chat night coming up soon? Mike Quote
Merle Coggins Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Here you go Mike, From my parts manual for the "D" (1 ton) models, Carrier bearings; Cups = 691 241 Cones = 855 101 Pinion Bearings; Front Cup = 619 395 Rear Cup = 688 474 Front Cone = 856 859 Rear Cone = 856 861 Pinion Seal = 1271 105 Hopefully your bearing house can cross these Mopar part numbers.
