Andydodge Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 I have a mate here in Oz who has a 1957 Plymouth, he wants to upgrade the brakes, ideally to discs........has anyone heard of or seen a disc brake setup for the 57 Plymouth?.......thanks in anticipation.......andyd Quote
PatS.... Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 Here's some info from the Forward Look Forum: The kit: http://www.magnumforceracing.com/wilwood_earlychryslerkit.asp You might ask for a basic kit instead of one with all the goodies included...much cheaper that way. An installation thread: http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=21931&posts=18&highlight=brakes&highlightmode=1#M146923 Also, AAJ has a decent kit for a 57 with the option of a basic or deluxe kit: http://www.aajbrakes.com/rproductinfo.html Quote
Olddaddy Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 My Plymouth kit should fit a 57 model. Currently on sale for $200 shipped to US addresses. Shipping to Australia would be a bit spendy, but can be done. I sent one over last year to a guy with a Fargo/Dodge pickup. Quote
Andydodge Posted January 16, 2009 Author Report Posted January 16, 2009 Thanks but it the torsion bar front end, not the king pin one, andyd Quote
