I have the body mounts and front running board mounts attached to the S-10 frame, and the body, fenders and hood set on to see how she looks and if everything fits ok. The front valance sits 8 inches off the ground. I gotta say this has been nothing but FUN. Wife has forgotten who I am and what I look like. LOL Bud :D :D :D

Looking good. Love the pinstriping over the headlights. Did you take notes and photos of any body mounts or other mods needed? How is the widtth of the front and back tire sections? Do you need to add extendors to the wheel studs or use deep dish rims?

I took lots of pics, notes will come when I take the cab off to finalize the welds, I built a jig to measure the body mounts from the original frame to transfer the mounts to the S-10 frame. see the pics I attached. I will probably use one inch spacers on the front wheels and use a 4x4 rear end as they are supposed to be wider. Bud :D

I had to look at those pics many times before I figured out what you were doing. I like it! Keep us updated on the progress. What are you going to be running under the hood?

don't hate me.... it is a small block chev with a turbo 350. Bud :)

It appears the width of the front end on your doner frame is a lot "skinnier" than the original. How did you overcome this?

are you talking about the way the wheels fill out the fenders?? If so, I will use one inch wheel spacers and a wider rim. Bud :D

I am talking about the difference in these 2 pictures. Looks like a lot more than a 1" spacer will overcome.

that is where the wider wheel comes in. I am aware of the differences and will be able to compensate for them. Remember, this will not look antyhing like a stock truck when I am finished. Bud :D :D :D
