  1. I had noticed that you had a '49 fender on the left side. I hadn't noticed it till you put the painted fender on. I'm glad you seam to be working any difficulties out. I've never worked on any body panels earlier than the '60s. Looking at my Suburban the earlier year cars seam to have a lot more parts holding the hole front together. What are you going to do about the two different front marker lights? PS: What color did you use on the car. Thanks, Mike
  2. Don; It's coming along nicely. How is it getting all those panels lined up?

  12. Thanks for the input Checked it with the Voltmeter. It was putting out 11.8 Volts at times then dropped to 7v then back up to 11.8v again. Ordered a new Regulator.... Car is all Original.
  13. My '50 Suburban burned out a Head Light the other day, No problem I replaced it. Drove into the city during the day, When I went home at night the new Head Light burned out right away. Then I noticed my Amp Gauge had went up to +40 then back to 0 then back to +40. Drove home and lost Two dash Gauge Lights. Next day replaced another Head Light, Same thing Happened. I'm thinking the Voltage Regulator is the Problem. I've been driving the for 2 1/2 years with no lighting problem till now. Does any one have any other ideas. Thanks in advance, Mike "LODI3QTR"

Plywood47; IT's not the original color of the car so I don't know the exact color name or number for it, So I had the car scanned to match it. This is the paint and the numbers that PPG came up with. I needed it to touch up some spots, The paint color matches very well. I hope this helps....
