The truck is at the reasturant "West Fourty" on highwas 34 just west of Park Rapids. It appears to be in good shape,but hasn't been moved in years.

It is mine. Former Hamel Firedepartment Truck I bought it 2 years ago on E-bay (after looking at it). Had 1,200 miles when I bought it and now has 1,700. I am planning on putting more miles on this summer. You can see a picture of it,prior to repaint, on page 143 of Bunn's book on Pilothouse Pickups. john

I would be interested in the owners manual,shop manual and '53 brochure. I'm not sure what a reasonable offer might be. I have a '53 3/4 ton -former Hamel fire dept truck (see page 143 in D Bunn's Dodge B Series Truck book) that I purchased 2 years ago. The body work should be done by then. I have been thinking of driving it down from Moorhead for the event Perhaps leave it at my son's house and take it to "Back to the 50's in June. The truck now has 1,500 miles on it-so it needs "breaking" in.
