  1. gopro is a action video camera it is super small and designed to be used in sports activities as it can be mounted almost anywhere. heres a link to the camera http://www.bestbuy.com/site/hero3-black-edition-camera/1617684.p;jsessionid=9E0CC7E9B484CC0E7BE278C2334247D8.bbolsp-app04-138?id=1219057239464&skuId=1617684&st=gopro camcorder&cp=1&lp=2
  2. yup its got a 360 in it still got some work to do but I am going to wait until it gets warmer.
  3. just a 6 min video of me out driving around in the truck. http://youtu.be/6Y7SGr5Get0
  4. Sorry I havent been around guys but the ship is going out allot, as a matter of fact I am bobbing in the ocean somewhere right now. I did know the gopro takes stills and I might do that a little with it however, I do have a professional DSLR with several interchangeable lenses I use for that normally. I bought the go pro to capture rolling footage of the truck and my friends hotrods going down the road. I dont trust my Nikon to a suction cup mounted on the hood or fender lol. I do thank you guys for the info though. Bud I did not do the chop I bought it already done and you are right he did a very nice job on it. I have been thinking though that I might bag the truck its got a 4 way adjustable ladderbar rear susp, and the frontend from a early dodge aspen with disk brakes. Does anyone know how hard it would be to do the conversion?
  5. I bought a gopro video camera to do some video montages of the truck and my hotrod buddies cars cruising around.
  6. nice truck man you did a nice job on the paint.
  7. Drifter its not just springs its the entire suspension from the Aspen.
  8. The front susp is from a late 70's early 80's dodge aspen and the rear is a custom 4 way adjustable ladderbar susp with coilovers and rear from a Plymouth fury II. PP the paint codes are Limco Charcoal gray metallic Q945 Bordeaux red metallic Q935
  9. I have the codes pp I will get them to you when I get home.
  10. well got the truck all done and back on the road she runs great and is getting better mileage
  11. woohoo! cant wait for a list I need to replace the rear fenders on my truck.
  12. also the lifter that was bad looks like it stuck in the bore at some point and the bottom of it was dished out by the cam. The good news is the cam doesn't look like it was damaged at all.
  13. Well heres the pics from the teardown today Yup its got a purple can in it. here's the broken valve and here's the now dead piston
  14. I bought my truck then took it to a cruise in spot the next Saturday and had an offer for twice what I paid for it. In hindsight taking the offer would have made financial sense but I feel its worth more than what the guy offered. my value on the truck is saving watching my spending for 15 years and putting family first so how would you pay for that?
  15. I pulled the rocker arm off spring came out with the top of the valve. Tim is going to help me with it mostly posting so I have a place to put the pics once teardown starts.
  16. this is how my weekend started teardown starts next weekend. but on the positive side we poured the addition on the driveway today so in a week I have nice new concrete to get oily.
  17. those pannel trucks are cool.
  18. I think my arms are going to fall off lol I spent 5 hours polishing the bed
  19. you guys got to stop doing this I love my modified truck but seeing these makes me want to build a stock farm truck. This reminds me of my grandpa thanks for stirring up the memories.
  20. Hey man if you need any help when you get back let me know I'm right down the road in va beach. I just got my truck and its got an updated suspension on it from a Plymouth fury II it may give you some ideas for the red truck. Also great work so far your really doing it right. Who did you use for powder coating? I am thinking about getting my frame and susp parts done when I repaint my truck in a few years.
  21. I love the garage to and the way its set up. One day I will have a garage like that I have even thought about building a polebarn with a living area inside but 80% garage now to just get the wife onboard lol.
