i was just going to do the same thing but i found a place that sells my filter for a decent price. although not as cheap as a spin on. they also told me the same thing about not all the oil going through it because the way the block is desighned. so im leaving mine with the setup its got and i will change the filter every once a year till i cant get them cheap enough

rebuilt the carb, cleaned out and painted the gas tank and made some tank straps but they are a bit to long so i will have to shorten them. got a new 6 volt battery and new battery cables. hopefully i can get her started tomorrow. the rear springs are incredibly shot, the worst i have ever seen so i will be ordering those soon. got a universal radiator from speedway that i will have to make fit yet and do the breaks yet to. -

yup. got the title to. i was thinking of getting this book. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Book-The-Official-12-Volt-Conversion-Guide,2867.html not sure what i would have to do to convert to a 12 volt negative ground. i want a newer radio and bright head lights because i plan on driving her to watch races at the local track and they dont get done till well after dark -

guess i better not use the phone in dim light or its my editing skills to lower the quality and size so it will load. would my car be a 6 volt negative ground? it has a generator on it that i assume is 6 volt. i plan to get a manual but i havent orderd one yet -

put some marvels mistery oil down the cylinders on friday and saturday i got her freed up. im pretty stoked about that. when i first got the car i sat in it and shut the doors but i couldnt open the front doors from inside. does anybody know how to unlock this? am i missing something or do i have to break into the door? -

its pretty good. the wife just got some artsy fartsy stuff but i will put those up. headliner has a mouse hole in it and it smells that way to, but thats not a surprise -

Lol. Thats ok. I do the samething. So since it was to long for the lean to i made a temperary garage for it. Git a 10x20ft canopy and put it on a pallet floor that i covered with some scrap plywood sheets i got from work. Dont put one of those together if theres any wind what so ever by the way
