  4. Tried it out today, starter spins faster but smooth. And I have another issue. Now the carb has a slight hesitation off idle. When it was 6 volt I was running an electric fuel pump, the carter type. Same type of pump but 12 volt, and carb hesitating. Any clues? Thanks

  7. I'm converting my 47 dodge truck to 12 volts and want to keep my foot activated starter set up. I know that it needs a ford solenoid but that would take away the foot start. My 6 volt starter was just rebuilt. Thanks, Greg

  9. On my 47 dodge truck, how do you remove the lenses to replace the bulb?
  10. The T5 conversion, you won't be sorry. You got the perfect bell housing for it too.
  11. It comes with a brass sleeve for the release bearing, a pilot bushing and a spacer ring that goes on the input shaft retainer
  12. I don't have an angle finder, but it looks strait up 90deg

  14. I have a 47 axle that's off my truck at my shop. I can measure it tomorrow in the afternoon, Hawaii time, and let you know.
  15. Contact Ford Mike on The Hamb website. He has a 53 Pilot House with a axle from Sid. He sent me some pics of his set up but it was different from mine. He's willing to help, seems like a nice guy
