I carefully figured out the roll of the tranny so I am pretty sure its in neutral...Spline rolls free with clutch engaged. The span between my forks is in line with the collars in the tranny. Now the wrinkle...The slot for the slider is to far back and it doesn't come up in line in neutral with the lid. I am going to go at it again here and carefully measure from the bolt holes which I haven't done... I have eye balling it..The funny part is before I had to take the lid off to peek everything was fine...I bought this tranny our of Minnesota and it's new to me so I had to know what the innerds were looking like. Thankfully it all looks really good. I just cant believe it has been this tricky getting the lid back in place. No it's not a fluid drive but it's a pain playing with that lid in limited space. Keven says I have to have this done by spring for the BBQ... We have 2 new guys doing trucks here in southern Oregon...I met one and got him hooked up with some stuff and another just signed in here and I am calling him today...Kevens been talking to him so I am sure he is squared away...Or at least getting there. I have the tranny in neutral but the reverse slot or the slider gear won't slide on. The forks were moved so now trying to get them back right has proven to be a real challenge. It is a 1952 Syncro 4 speed Truck Tranny. Somebody else has surely had fun with this before me.

I have a weiner dog thats the best shop dog I ever had...and well on the front porch taking pictures of parts for ebay my wife has a cast plaster one, so I had this hair brained idea to add the dog on my ebay pictures. I heard you guys were all enamered with the little dog...glad you liked it. Didnt help ebay one bit or my wallet but the comments are funny.... Good thing I am about out of stuff to get rid of...
