  1. pics were just an example, ive locked them down several times and no problems. finished product has additional support brackets and bushing in arm from master, no flex and no play. thanks for advice though
  2. one of the safest things you can do is change to a dual master on the brakes
  3. Water temp sending came with the dolphin gauge set. Master cylinder is from 60 thunderbird and I fabricated the mounting bracket.
  4. Thanks alot, I ended up just running it out of the old armored cable hole since it's gone with the 12 volts upgrade. This car has thrown me for so many loops, like in your pic cable goes to passenger side of trans. This one is drivers side, cable was plenty long enough so it worked out.
  5. So I been looking at post and reading til my eyes are bleeding. Putting together a car I didn't take apart. What is proper routing of the speedo cable and attachment points for bracing? Finished up the master cylinder upgrade, works like a champ. Master and ac brackets fabbed by me.
  6. had to come get on the computer, on my phone thats all it would let me do. i just clicked on reply and it still says loading. anyway to correct it? had to resize photos all the way down just to upload them.
  7. I just made one, thanks. I might as well start selling parts hell, everything I end up needing I end up making?
  8. That spring part number is not coming up anywhere, I messaged that seller to see if he has an actual pic of the part. Don't want to order if it's not correct, it says for 40-48 dodge truck on his listing.
  9. Thanks I'll look it up
  10. Fenders, core support, bumpers, inner fenders, etc. Does anybody sell a kit, we buy them for other cars all the time
  11. Hey sniper you got any leads on hardware/bolt kits for this 50 deluxe? All I see are fine thread, I can blast and paint but then you have to repaint after tightening?
  12. I think this front end has been replaced with dodge parts, what do the experts say. Everything else says and matches Plymouth but this grill with the round lights on the outside. Frame shows signs of repair from an accident before.
  13. It's a sanden sd5, comes in the vintage air heritage series kit.
  14. Yes I did, it fits the alternator in below it also
  15. Understood, personally I have no problem paying $50 with free shipping for a hard to find part. I guess it's just in how you word it? made some progress though on the shifter arms, had to rebend them somewhere along the line the one got bent. I'll do the fine tuning when I get the column back in. Working on ac and front end now.
  16. I was thinking the same thing sir, add the $16 into the price for the hard to find spring and call it free shipping? I'd feel better about it?
  17. Thanks I've searched high and low, you a life saver
  18. Mine is broken, if you look closely it's collapsed on itself.
  19. I'm gonna cut them down to where I need them?
  20. Front is new also from bernbaum, looks exactly like the one that came out. Yes it's getting a full resto. The old rear ones were so oil soaked and smushed they were half the height of these new ones. I think I'm gonna just trim some off til I get good clearance on the shift arms. Thanks alot, that manual will be a great plus. Will pass it on with the vehicle when it's finished.
  21. Spoke with the previous owner and he says it was driven to the shop like this, I kind of think the one arm is bent or something? yeah I'm the guy that they give the box of bolts and parts and say figure it out. At the same time doing a 12 volt conversion adding ac? these are correct body mounts? You say these rear mounts are right also? Looks like I'll barely have room for the e brake whenever I receive the lining as close as it is to the floor? Thanks, can't wait for the manual to arrive.
  22. None that I have found show my particular set up, arms on trans and torque arm set up
