There is a nut on the box to adjust the play in the gears. You want to adjust the box with the wheel turned one direction but not at lock. Don't over do it or you can cause it to bind and have tough steering. The box is probably mainly worn out in the driving straight posistion as it spends most its life there so you will most likely have the same problem. Hope this helps.
