  1. really nice coupe. welcome
  2. nice concept but yes the interior looks like the kid went to town on it in grade school. i would buy at $9,000. i was thing of using my mercedes S320 in-line v6 in my next coupe that i buy.
  3. yes boys thats a camera car. they were used to mount motion picture film cameras to shot movies. the different platforms were used to carry director and film camera mounts in the front and rear. just like now.
  4. when i grow up i want to be you. you got 2 of the freshest rides that i have seen in a while. i have been looking for cars here in detroit that don't compare to the 2 that you have. nice job
  5. look like you guys had a great time and a lot of great cars in that video
  6. nice cars. i see that some of the cars that i missed out on here in michigan about 5 months ago are being sold at that same auction coming up.
  7. nice business coupe, i'm looking to buy one right now. hope i can find one like yours.
  8. got car back. it feels great to be able to stop when you want. i had both front brake lines replaced. also had a rebuilt carb installed to help with the car restarting after running hot. car should now start up everytime i push the start switch.
  9. Had car towed today to j & j in ferndale.
  10. I just have a battery cut off switch also so I control the power that I use because I drive the car every other weekend if that. Also it's 6 volts and I do not have a charger.
  11. that's a nice ride. wow that's all i can say. what a nice car. all the lines are nice and the side pipes really bring out the hot rod in your coupe.
  12. hey guys i am trying to find out what stock and or aftermarket wheels and tires sizes that can be put on my car. i am now looking to replace my bias tires with radials and also replace the 15 inch wheels with a bigger wheel like 16 or 17 inch to give the car a different look. i don't have $1,200 for new coker white wall tires and i here that they do not balance correctly. i have stock brakes no discs on my 48 d-24 sedan now. i say that also because that would help me with the wheel problem that you guys have had with the tire replacement on the oem stock wheels from 48. i have come across other threads that say that the new tire shops have damaged the stock wheels when used with the newer tire changers. i would like to see pictures of your cars posted to this tread of what you guys and look foward to hearing your suggestions. thanks
  13. hey guys thanks for all your help on helping me find the leak i think i found the source. today i took the battery out and against the drivers side of the engine compartment next to the tire wall is where the two brake lines come through the from the front outer body then split off to both right and left wheels. so the break is not at the wheels but at the break line in the engine compartment. now i need to know if the break line can be fixed by splicing the damaged section with a new section or will i need to to replace the entire brake line. i will be taking the car to the shop but i want you guys opinion on how it can be repaired before i have the car towed. also i'm in southfield michigan, is there any shops that anyone of you guys who suggest that i can have the work done and fixed professionally in my area. thanks a lot again. i look forward to hearing you ideas.
  14. hey went out to go take the car on the michigan ave. cruise in dearborn michigan on saturday july 10 2010 and a smelled a fume that i hd never smelled before and when i pulled out i noticed that the brake pedal went straight to the floor. i have not been able to locate the leak i will be removing the driver's side floor pan some time this week. here are a couple pictures of where the drips happens in the front of the car. not sure if it is the master cylinder or a brake line. also what shop do you guys trust in the detroit metro area would you suggest to get my brake problem fixed and not get ripped offed. thanks
