plymouthcranbrook's post in 1953 Coronet Hemi was marked as the answer
Beautiful car. Welcome to the forum. Tod Fitch has a list he made up on his website. Look up Plymouth the first decade and it will pop up. The IPad will not let me copy the address to paste it here but it is easy to find. Another good suppler is Vintage Power Wagons for items that are shared between truck and cars. A few salvage yards like French Lake Auto Parts and Moores on South Dakota also are Mopar centric.

plymouthcranbrook's post in Rear transmission seal replacement was marked as the answer
As my ability to crawl under cars is more limited than it once was. That said I had my 52 manual trans rear seal replaced at a local shop and the cost was under $200. Just drop the drive shaft and undo the rear bolt. And replace the old seal I suspect.

plymouthcranbrook's post in anyone in the Seattle area? was marked as the answer
You might post on Craigslist or somewhere like it a “Free to good home” ad detailing the issues and see if anyone wants it. Or donate it to a local charity. They usually pick up free and you get a very small amount off your Federal taxes.

plymouthcranbrook's post in Bolt on Ford Carburetor for Flathead 6 was marked as the answer
I think this is what you are talking about. I spoke to Jon at the Carburetor shop and although he said it was doable by either enlarging the mounting holes to the manifold or his suggestion was to take the bottom half of a B&B and cut it in half and then do the same to the bottom part on the YF. Then weld them together. I decided a Langdons two barrel was better for me.

I think a good portion of younger folks don’t expect to ever be able to retire. My daughter and her husband just bought a house in Waukesha, Wi. And had to bid $20,000 over the asking price to get it. They had been outbid on eight other houses before that. $255,000. For a 3 bedroom, 1 bath ranch on a corner lot with a two car garage. And they make a good living. By the time you add all the other expenses of life in those with less are just buying or charging stuff and not worrying about it. With all the talk about climate change and the political situation maybe they don’t see much future.
