  1. Your right, it's all about the feel of the car sometimes. How it makes you feel. I wouldn't mind having that again but this time I want to be able to break even when I decide to sell it. I don't feel like you can do that with 4 door cars and if you can then it's a little harder. I've got a 1951 dodge sitting on some property about 10 miles from my house that I could probably get for 500.00. Again it's a four door, but I wouldn't mind having it. I'm going to be purchasing one soon I just need some help on converting it.
  2. Time is on my side with this one because I wont be in a hurry and I have a few different welders. I have some welding skills but not anything to brag about. It will be hard to doubt. In threads it looks easy but in real life it will be a challenge. It's all on how you look at it though. If I get some friends over and BBQ and fix one thing well visiting why not Good Company. I don't have those WWW anymore but I got a dude in Fresno/Clovis that can hook you up. CHEAP . If you want him to call you send me your number. Oh and well your at it would you send me a few of those links from the hamb. I'd like to look at those cars. Thanks
  3. Thanks Flatie, I'll have to search the Hamb. I've thought about all the fab work and there's a few possibilities if I get into trouble. I could always cut the top all the way off and make it a topless car. Or I can ride around in a 4 to 2 door conversion that looks ugly
  4. No doubt that it's alot of work Tony, but money is tight and this isn't a investment So I can nickel and dime this one. There's alot of Cars in my area that are dying to be turned into a 2 door. I'm still looking for a Answer and if possible a thread on 4 to 2 door conversion. Thanks
  5. I'm looking at possibly picking up a 50 desoto 4 door this weekend but I was wondering what cars I can swipe doors from to make it a 2 door? It looks like maybe the dodge, plymouth, chrysler cars would fit. Does anyone have a good door swap thread? So to sum it up I need a pair of doors of a 2door car Make sense?
  6. Hey glad you stumbled on this post. I think I might have asked 5 different forums about your Plymouth. Would you post more pictures please?
  7. This is definitely on my to do list. Is this the one your talking about.... http://www.stoveboltengineco.com/acartpro/product.asp?productid=126 Thanks
  8. I posted on the Hamb also and no one has replied yet. Thanks
  9. I just watched the Video again and wow is that car mean looking. Unfortunately my computer doesn't have any sound so I can't hear the motor or anyone talking. Does it sound NICE:D? Blue I didn't realize that we had a UTUBE section. If anyone else thinks it would be a good idea to put it there also let me know and I'll move it there, It just doesn't seem like there's much activity on p15 to where I'll have to bump it alot. Wow that cars is great. Thanks guys. BLUE, I just realized you wanted me to put a comment on UTUBE not on P15 in the UTUBE section. Thanks and sorry for the confusion.
  10. This is? I want to see more pics. Very nice looking car. Thanks

  13. It's going to be someones solid project pretty soon. There's no way my wife will let me have two projects:D. It's going for sale pretty soon. What should I ask for it? I was thinking 1200.00 but am not sure what there going for. As soon as it's gone, it will be time to dump some cash in the 46!
  14. Thanks everyone. I'm in the Central Valley. Hanford near Fresno.
  15. Thanks for the welcome. I've only had the mopar bug for a little over six months but I got it Bad:D. Here's some pictures of the 53..... There's no motor so the front sits up a little high. These are pics from when I first bought the car. I need to take some new ones. Thanks
  16. It's great to have a site dedicated to p15-d24. I found out about it from a few guys on the Hamb. I previously got my hands on a 53 Plymouth HT, and soon to have a 46 Plymouth Coupe. I purchased the 53 last year. Unfortunately most of the Chassis was switched to chevy. It has a 81 Monte Carlo subframe and rear end. I figured I would finish the car with a SBC too. Most of the trim has been filled. If it had been in more of a original look i would have kept it that way but none of the trim came with the car. It's a very solid body other than a huge hole in the floor in the back seat area. I'm going to have to sell it once I get the 46. My buddies Dad has had the car since highschool and I think his father even owned it before that. It has been parked for a little over 15 years. Of course sitting outside the elements have did what they do best:D. From what I can see it's still a very solid car. All original. Well there's my introduction. Hope to gain some knowledge well hanging out here. Thanks Adam
