  1. I'm a scratch golfer and play a few times a month with some old fraternity buddies. Usually drinking so I'm excited about eagles.
  2. mine was stored inside for 5 yrs and it took alot to get it running. Drained the gas, replaced the rubber parts of the fuel line and cleaned the pump. dont forget to blow air up the tank lines to clean the in-tank filter. hope all goes well... priming with fresh gas and oil is a GREAT idea
  3. personally I own a "rat rod" and believe the stigma and the stereotypes are outrageous. In my opinion the roots of rat rods were poor boy hot rods and just built with what you have handy. I'm not into just bolting on random junk onto my car but I do like low budget
  4. AWESOME!!! I am really excited about that
  5. Thanks for all of the replies guys, A gentleman I know that is an "old schooler" was saying that I might have to take out the front and rear glass. is that true with the old dodges?
  6. I just ordered a headliner for my 1948 dodge town sedan and have absolutely NO CLUE on how to install it . any help, tips or pics?
  7. hopefully I can make it to the Chickashay (?) prewar show
  8. yes it has the vent, but my car was hitting the red. I still think i need a new cap, this one doesn't seal. I will replace the thermostat and see where that gets me
  9. the radiator cap is not sealing and leaking out about a gallon
  10. thank you, but it's running great now. I drove it 30 miles to the paint shop on the highway in the texas heat and she ran flawlessly. It did get hot because the radiator cap is old and doesnt seal. Anyone know of a place that still sells them? and My dipstick is loose and loses oil...any tips?
  11. well i grew up in a body shop but just dont have the facility to paint right now. Luckily out here in BFE there are still alot of poor boy hot rodders and some trade work is still pretty cheap...
  12. okay boys... I was so excited that the car was running right that I dropped her off to be painted today. A fresh coat of black high gloss paint and fender skirts should revive interest
  13. No there not original, the car came with some rubber spoke rims from a monte carlo so I went out to the salvage yard and picked up some steelies and ordered the beauty rings and dogdish moons off of ebay. total the new rims cost about 100 for rims and trim
  14. finland may not be in texas but we have paris and rome
