  1. I bought the middle seats out of a Ford van. They have armrests, seat belts tilt and swivel. They were the right color and I was able to buy them for $35. I had to shorten the posts but that was easy. I kept the raised original seat mount so I can go back to original. My truck is a B4B, 1953. Good luck, Jim
  2. I am restoring a 1953 pickup. It is in pretty good shape. I need to buy the rh rear spring screw in shackle. Also the spring is broken that goes around the lower shift column linkage? Will it work without it? Unfortunately I have no grill. I was given a 1998 Dakota grill. I turned it upside down and did a little grinding on it. It really looks pretty good. I would much rather have the original. I am pulling the engine just for a good cleanup. Thank you, Jim
  3. Your truck really looks good in the pictures. On your plate the numbers should be B4B-118. The 4 means it is a 1953 The second B means it is a 1/2 ton. The 108 means it has a 108 inch wheelbase. The engine should be a 217 1/2. It is called a 218. It is a great little engine. The Complete bed was black unless an extra fee of $6.44 was paid. The 1953 is the only one with a split windshield and wing windows. The original 1953 fender is is exactly the same until 1985. You are so lucky to have a nice grill. They are impossible to find. The grill was painted the same as the body. Good luck you have a real treasure there. Jim
  4. Is there any place to get the lower column spring? Will it work without it? Would an older top loader 3 speed shifter work on this transmission? I also need a right rear spring shackle. Jim:(
