  2. Thanks Tony, but I am in Australia so would be cost prohibitive to send over there. Willing to pay freight one way though if I can get a good set. cheers Jack
  3. Hi, I am looking for the three chrome grill mouldings for a B1/B2 original Mopar P/N 7-16-36.Same p/n but are three different lengths. Must be in good condition. My ones have many small dents and the chromer wants heaps to repair before chroming. Will pay freight to Australia if they are in good nick. Jack
  4. Mate, it`s gunna cost you a fortune and 10 years of your life. Stick it in a container and I`ll pay the freight to ship it done under. You guys got more old tin than us. Jack
  5. Sorry Eric I did not answer part of your question, yes it is a 2wd. Jack
  6. Yes Bud I am, Not real good at navigating around the forum yet,(dont` even know what a pm is!) can you email me at jh.medley@bigpond.com to see if we can work something out. Jack

  8. Yes, we imported our trucks from Canada & assembled them here from 48-51 then Chrysler started building them in South Australia at their plant. The cab overs and Power wagons have the same Mopar P/N so I am assuming they are the same. When they changed models in the US and Canada we kept the same basic model for a few more years. Small International trucks in this country used the same cab with different guards & bonnet for quite a few years, they had the Chrysler plant supply them for International but all are getting scarce now. Jack
  9. I need the moulding, (two pieces) that separates the flat windshield glass for my Dodge rebuild. Original Mopar part number 23-66-156. I need something to copy from if I cannot get one in good nick. Willing to pay freight to Australia and/or cost of part. All two piece flat windscreen Dodge trucks including Power Wagons and cab overs use the same part number. Heellpp.
  10. Thanks Greybeard. Jack ( I would post a photo but have not worked out how to yet. Give me anything mechanical and I`ll fix it, computers! still learning)
  11. Spray with the magic WD40, take the door off the vehicle, not a big job. get an offsider to hold a large hammer on the hinge giving clearance for the pin to move then one good hit with a 4lb hammer and it WILL move. You need to have that hammer behind it so the energy from the hit all goes into the pin instead of flexing the hinge. Use a steel dolly but be careful not to mushroom the pin, they are tapered slightly so should move with one good hit. (worth a thousand taps) Jack
  12. Hi from Australia, dont know about lifting the handle to lock it as the passenger side has an extended piece that slides a bar up and prevents the door latch from opening. The drivers side does not. I will have to try your option but looking at the lock out of the door cannot see how it could work. My 49 was made in Canada and assembled here so maybe it is different? All said if you guys are right it will save me some trouble as you can lock the drivers door, get out passenger side and lock with key and re-enter the same way. Looking for a complete rubber kit, glass, windlacing etc. whole box and dice. I found a site Roberts rubber but saw a forum somewhere that said they don`t fit well. Any help guys? Jack
  13. I live in the Illawarra area NSW Australia and we are rebuilding a 49/50 Dodge pilothouse as you guys call them. Looking for all rubber for all glass including the quarter windows. There is a key to lock the left door but none for the right and no provision in the mechanism to fit one, very strange. Any info, help would be appreciated. Jack.
