  2. The oil pump was leaking oil bad so I had it replaced, I replaced the fuel pump do to the smell of gas in the oil and then had the oil and filter changed. One think I notice on the carb is that the gaskets stay wet with fuel all the time
  3. Thank you, I have am taking my car into the shop tomorrow to get some work done to it and I will have the mechanic take a look and see what he can do.

  5. I have a rebuilt carb on it, could this be the problem? You are saying that it's dumping gas into the engine?
  6. I have a 1952 Plymouth Cranbrook and I was checking the oil the other day and noticed that the oil smells like gas, I have replaced the fuel pump, the oil pump and have had the oil changed when these parts where replaced. Does anyone know if this is normal or what the issue could be.

  11. Ok so I have my plymouth in the shop right now getting the oil pan gaskets replaced as well as some other stuff done to it, I stopped by the shop and the guy was able to fabricate a new flange gasket

  20. Yes I was just about to say one is for the oil gage
  21. I see what looks like a break line going to the bottom of the engine block then there is a cable with a spring wrapped around it going to the top of the engine block

  23. Yes I have found that part lol, just not sure what to do to fix the issue.
