I was talking with an old friend of mine who used to be a mechanic in a chrysler garage back in the day,,,,, He told me he cant ever remember seeing one on these cars
Morning everyone. I had a fuel pump go bad in my 47 plymouth. ordered a new one, and when I opened it, the directions showed me a insulator block, in between the engine block, and the fuel pump. My car does not have that block.
Is it necessary????????
What does it do?????
Thanks
Brian
Hi everyone. Hope all is well. On this Chrysler Saratoga I am starting to developed issues with it going into reverse. Low gear works fine, second and third gear are fine. This is a hydro-matic
Well it is a hemi. It is fluid drive. I do not know the difference between fluid torque drive or just fluid drive. It is basically a show car or running around on weekends. Ok just looked at gear selector indicator,,,, it says fluid matic
Ok. I have found a 1947 plymouth rearend to put into the 52 Saratoga. My only question would be........I have to consider if the yoke from the 47 p. Will swap with the 52 Saratoga and vicy versy
