  1. Here is when we first got it going. Then with paint (looked good from a distance), then I was left unsupervised and fire.
  2. Our '41 Plymouth is getting there. Stance is close, rear has to come down a bit. It's sitting on a '84 El Camino frame. And it's lowered a bit. Duh.
  3. Those are almost the same as ours but the turn signal is different. And it's pricey! But those are still missing the piece that goes around the headlight. This is the piece we need for both sides.
  4. No, no help at all. Ugh.
  5. We're looking for the part that goes around the headlight. This is the best pic we have. Will other years fit????? And yes, we need side trim too but we may just weld them shut, we can't find any in our price range.
  6. I was thinking the same thing. Rear we're just going to use the main leaf to locate the axle and then mount the bags in front of the axle.
  7. Do you know what year S-10 Blazer?
  8. Looking into air bagging the '41. We want it a bit lower than it is at the moment but we want a decent ride. So I was seeing if anyone else here as done an airbag install using the stock suspension.
  9. Yes I do have a 12v system.
  10. Nope. Any ideas?
  11. No switches at all.
  12. Can I tap into that port? I have power brakes. And how do I hook it up to the dash to turn it on and off?
  13. I have the motor but I don't know how to hook it up? As in to switch it on and off. Where do I hook the vacuum up on the engine? I have a SBC (it was free!).
  14. OK, rain X doesn't work very well and I still have the vacuum wiper 'motor' and everything hooked up on my '41 Plymouth. What can I do to make it work? I know it's not great but it's better than nothing.
  15. 1 and 1/2 coils cut up front and 3" blocks in rear. Tires are L78's in back and G78's up front. Fifteens both.
  16. I believe so. And free is good!!!!
  17. I used a '79 Nova 10 bolt. Just moved the perches. I have dual bolt pattern wheels so no biggie there. I know it's a Chevy part but the engine (SBC) and rear axle were free and I'm broke so...
  18. Yep Northern, IN rust!!! It sucks. We're going to try and make the Essenhaus cruise.
  19. Cut 1 and 1/2 coils up front and 3" blocks in the rear. Rides way better no more 'floaty' feeling. Yes that's a technical term. It's getting there!
  20. I've got my Dad's '41 Plymouth sedan running and driving but it didn't come with any trim. Any good places? Or anyone have any? Thanks!
  21. The last one is what we have. Anybody want to trade?????
  22. Well we finally got the flatty over to my dad's and when we went to test fit it, the bellhousing is way too wide for the '41 Plymouth's frame. Since they narrow in as they go back. I'm guessing that the car trans is narrower than the trucks? And if so anybody want to trade a good truck trans for a car? We can make the truck trans work, just more fab work which I find fun but... The truck engine is a '37 Dodge.
  23. It will be a stocker. My Dad wants to keep it simple. It already has a trans installed so we'll be using that. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!
  24. What all is needed to get it to work? Fabbing is no problem for us. Besides it's more fun!
  25. Howdy from South Bend, IN first of all. I have a '39 Chevy, chopped, lowered, etc. I also publish a hot rod/custom 'zine called Blacktop Graffiti(www.blacktopgraffitimagazine.com). But the real reason I'm posting is my Dad has a '41 Plymouth 2-door sedan. We got it(free!!!!) with no motor or trans. We just picked up two Flat sixes w/trans for $250. One is frozen the other is recently rebuilt and has everything. The one were going to use is from a '37 Dodge truck and is a 25" motor, the frozen one is a 23" motor. My dad loves these motors(and I'm think they are just damn cool too!). I want to find out anything I can about these motors, like converting to 12 volts, cubic inches, hp, hell anything! My Dad is 76 and I really want to get his car going so he can enjoy it while he can. It's the least I can do for everything he's done for me. So thanks in advance and I just might try to 'unfreeze' the one six and build something around it. There just cool to look at can't wait to get 'em going!!!!!!
