curtiswyant Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 This may be a dumb question, but if I currently have a fluid drive + Gyromatic trans behind my flattie and I want to install a T5 5-speed, what the heck do I use for a flywheel? Do I need to get a non-fluid drive (shorter) bellhousing and flywheel? And will my crank accept a pilot bushing/bearing? Quote
james curl Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 Suggest you contact Don Coatney as you will have to do about the same thing that he did with his big block DeSoto. Quote
58prostreet Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 I got a 230 flywheel from vintage powerwagons and a modified bellhousing from Langdon's stovebolt. Also got a modified w/c t5 from him also. Bob Quote
Don Coatney Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 Anyone besides me actually have one on the road yet? Quote
