PatS.... Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Hello 1949 Chrysler Windsor parts car: Complete including original engine (C45-XXXXXX) Original Radio, Original Clock, solid uncrumbling Steering wheel, Peckat Exterior Visor, Padded dash in good shape, all hubcaps and trim rings and a trunk full of misc. shiney goodies. 15 minutes from home. I've never seen a 49 Chrysler advertised locally ever. The Coupe was in Lethbridge a bit south of here. The floor is rusted and the rear body but the 4 fenders are great, the grille bits are all there. The hood ornament is missing but I have 3 good ones. Same price as the Fargo Will be kinda handy having an intact car handy to see how things go back together, my memory is fading even though I have hundreds of pictures and notes and labeled zip lock bags. I'll have to get what I need from the DeSoto and scrap it as much as I just hate to do it, being a city slicker, I do believe the neighbors may frown on a Mopar junk yard in their midst. (anyone near Calgary can have the DeSoto, just come get it, still lots of useable parts) No excuses now...to hell with the doctors...I'm back! Quote
mackster Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 NICE! More pictures please!!!! and you are right to hell with doctors! get to working on it! Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Nice enough looking vehicle Pat. Isn't it amazing what cars can be right near you, and you've never seen them before.....have no clue. Evidently this one's been in the garage, at least for a while. Many times, a good example from an original car is worth a lot. Quote
