hoofchaz Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Does anybody have spider caps on stock wheels from a 1953 Plymouth? Does anyone know where I can get them? Thanks, CHAZ Quote
Normspeed Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 The car is tankwilson's (forum member). Maybe he could point you towards a supplier. They sure look good on his ride. Quote
tankwilson Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Speedway sells them. Mine fit the ford bolt pattern. I got mine from VAPHEAD on the HAMB. He is the cheapest and will check them to make sure they are good before sending them out. Just remember everyone that sells them is getting them from the same cheap chinese factory. I am running orginal wheels. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Tank, I like those ribbed trim rings. Dresses things up nicely. Car looks fine. Quote
49DODGEBOY Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Tank that ride is sweet, the chop really makes the lines flow.... you on bags? Quote
tankwilson Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Yep. Really need them for the height... to get out of my drive way without taking off my oil drain. Really like them. Thinking about going lower. Quote
crazycasey Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Any chance we can get a bigger shot of the pic that Normspeed posted...or one like it? You know, desktop background size...I think I'm inspired. Oh, and yeah, lower for sure! Quote

NatesSedan Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 You win Tank. You have some seriously nice stuff there. That sportster bike is quite a piece of work. Where do you find the time????? Quote
hoofchaz Posted May 6, 2008 Author Report Posted May 6, 2008 My caps are on the way. I got them from D+S rod and custom. Great people to work with. He actually sold me just a pair, because I couldn't see putting anything on the rear rims since they will never be seen with the skirts on. I am going to paint the rims a light blueish white color to match the roof of my car, that should contrast nicely with the dark blue body. I will post pics when I am done. CHAZ Quote
TENN-Haney Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Tank, That 49 is AWESOME..... What kind and size are those wide whites you have on it? What size rim you running? Thanks, Jamie Quote
