I have been noticing that when I put gas in my car a little gas is dripping on the ground. The gas tank is retored by RE-Nuz-it however closer examination revels that it is leaking from the rubber hose between the metal spout and the tank itself. I remember when I first built the car I put these very large clamps on the hose. I think I need to find some more modern clamps. I ordered the clamps from a Plymouth vendor and they are those original type. I went to the parts store today however they don't have any in the size I need, hads anyone seen any clamps the size I need at some other vinue? Mybe a plumbing suppy or something. Gas approching 4.00 dollas a gallon I can't afford to waste any:rolleyes: When it hits 4.50 to 5.00 it will be free. I will be stealing it from parked cars, 5 foot hose and a gas can:cool: yeah it's been done before;) jul0807.jpg

Rodney.....is the hose that joins the neck to the tank good? If worn out,

gas could seep thru it perhaps. I bought a new piece of hose, is about

4 inches or so long, from some seller on ebay but don't see any up for

sale right now. (It was sure a heavy duty piece of hose.) Have not

installed it yet as mine doesn't leak.....just storing for future use.

The gas tank fill hose is available at napa I think I paid about a dollar a inch (they cut to size) a few months ago. Be sure you get gas hose not a radiator hose for clamps I used a couple of clamps I had in my parts box. You should be able to get large clamps when you buy the hose or you can connect 2 clamps together to make one large one as it is in a place no one will see
