This web site and bulb source is the greatest. Got my LED's from them and like them very much. In my usual fashion, I did not read the bulb info completely and first ordered white LED's for my tail lights. They worked but didn't take your breath away or anything. Upon finally reading all the directions included for ordering bulbs, I learned that red glass lenses require red LED's. Believe it or not, this change made the DODGE script tail lights nearly twice as bright, with my six volt system.

Two neat things about these bulbs - they are NOT polarity sensitive. Hook 'em up poss or neg ground and they don't mind. Secondly, they just cost a hair over $7 each, so we can all afford to have visible brake/tail lamps on our six volt systems - even on a sunny day. :)

Dave,

Which bulbs did you end up using? Photos? Do they work for 6 volt turn signals with a conventional flasher?

Reg,

Negatory on the flasher question. The web site instructions give their recommendations for a work-around, basically an electronic (motorized) flasher. The web site has photos and much related information. I think it's neat that they have whipped the polarity problem inherent in most LED applications. Basically these are a standard bulb base that fits into your stock taillight sockets - pretty neat, I think.
