Normspeed Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 C'mon Bob, tell us what you REALLY think! For a really sharp 2 tone, check anthonyb's member profile. Quote
Ed Griffin Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Saw that the other day. Wrote him to let him know what a Dodge Deluxe and Dodge Custom was. Not a major ordeal but he now knows it's a custom, not a deluxe he's advertising. Something like that I dont mind giving someone a heads up on. Especially with it being the higher end model of the two. Some extra trim is abt all that makes the differance. Could actually be a Deluxe but they didnt come with the rear fender side trim, Custom did. Quote
bob westphal Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 anthonyb's car looks great. He did it right. The eBay Dodge guy didn't! I still think it looks like crap. Quote
anthonyb Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Thanx for the compliments guys. Actually, the way I did it is incorrect for the period too. The top color should start at the cowl just behind the hood and it should end at the top of the trunk lid. I thought that looked rather silly so I just did the hood and trunk lid too. The best part of doing these old machines is that there aren't very many folks around to tell you that it's not absolutely correct. Just wish my beast looked as nice as most of the rides here. Maybe when I get to be a senior member with tooooo much time on my hands I can do it up right. Quote
