Lee Exline Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 Winning bidder is from Big Lake Minnesota Small town a little northwest of the twin cities according to some of feedback from sales he has made. Anybody from this forum know this guy, is he a Memeber already? Quote
Dennis_MN Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 How about that, Big Lake is 3 miles from Monticello. I didn't find the sellers name, but if you posted it I could give him a call and welcome him to the Pilothouse group. Dennis Sullivan Monticello,MN Quote
Lee Exline Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 I don't know his name? I was only able to find he was from Big Lake by checking his feedback history and say that he had sold something and the listing had his location. I suppose you could send a email through Ebays emails system? Lee Quote
52B3B108 Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 The spare tire carrier that was sidemounted on mine had a plate bolted through the top angled part of the box side and was welded to the original carrier piece that stood verticle to hold the tire. Then a piece of iron was bolted to the running running boards and bolted to the bottom part of the original tire carrier. It spread out the weight between two points far from each other. Quote

I registered today and then found out that my registration needs to be in effect for three days before I can send anyone an email. I hope I don't forget next week. Dennis_MN Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Well I did remember after 3 days to try to contact the buyer. However e-bay had another filter to prevent clowns from senting blow job instructions etc. This time they stopped my message to the buyer by telling me that they didn't allow e-mail from a free site such as yahoo or hotmail. If I wanted to send a message from such a site I needed to provide my credit card information. I decided that at this point I was going to give up and forget about contacting a fellow pilothouse owner who lives about three miles from me. If he is a true restoration fellow he 'll see mine around. If he is just a fix up and reseller then who cares. Dennis Sullivan Quote
Lee Exline Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 I just sent him the message below! We will see if he replies? Lee "welcome to Dodge Pilot house truck ownership! Members of the forum watched the sale closely and you have one that only lives 3 miles away that has been trying to contact you. Lee Grimes Iowa" Quote
