Last night I rediscovered a couple of old photos that an old friend gave me many years ago. Having a 1941 Chrysler he knew I loved old Mopars. These pictures were taken in Kokura, Japan in 1945, my friend is the GJ on the left in both photos. The back of the photo of the 41 reads "Captured by the Nips in Mai??a?at at the beginning of the war. They brought it here to Kokura (Japan) for use as an admiral's car. Naturally our Commander has it now."

The photo of the 37 Imperial reads " 37 Imperial Limo Gov. of Philippines car taken by the Nips in 1941. We took it back in 1945 at Kokura Japan"

Sorry for any political in correctness, hope I don't offend anyone, just quoting what is written. One more thing , the 41 Chrysler appears to be right hand drive.

Pictures like these can give you an Idea of what times were like when these cars were new. I know it amazes me.
