Chuck U&R Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 It's been quite a while since I last posted. I was given a disassembled '48 pickup. Had a 350 SBC and a 350 Th in it. Most of it is pretty ruff and the front fenders are missing. My latest thinking is to shorten , and maybe Z, the frame on a '76 Chevy 1/2T rustbucket I own and dropping the Pilothouse bed, body and fenders on it. I think it will work - Anyone tried that ??? I don't have any front fenders and I really want to hide the front suspension. I found fiberglass fenders for $400./pair but I'm wondering if I can find a better deal on some old steel fenders ??? Any replies and/or input will be appreciated. Quote
