How to code my truck

51 Fargo

Recommended Posts

There should be a vin plate on the driver side door support. The way it works is the B series is a style, 1 is 49 and 2 is 50, then the B is for 1/2 ton, C is 3/4 ton and D is one ton. So a B2C is Pilothouse 1950 3/4 ton.

Looking at your photo you are not the 1 ton, so I would guess either 1/2 or 3/4. If you were a 3/4 ton dodge then the vin would be stamped DE-2 your engine should have a T-177 casting mark. Because you are a Fargo then the vin would be FM-2 and the engine T-177 wheelbase is either 116 or 126

If you are the 1/2 then the Fargo stamp is FM1 engine T-173 and wheelbase 108"

Is Chilliwack aircare exempt?

OOPS just saw the 51' part of the post, okay thats the basic idea look for some casting marks or a vin and I will look up the right year :)
