kabic Posted January 15, 2024 Report Posted January 15, 2024 Hello, I'm new to the forum. I bought at 1948 Dodge Business Coup that has a scarebird dusc break conversion. I have looked at their website and I can't determine if it has the budget or non budget conversion. The bracket looks more like the budget, but the caliper looks like chevy celebrity the non budgets uses.... Quote
kabic Posted January 15, 2024 Author Report Posted January 15, 2024 (edited) Here is the car for those interested...has the Ford Explorer rear end in it. I'm rebuilding a Buick 350 to put in it along with the TH350 transmission that came out of a 1976 Buick LeSabre Edited January 15, 2024 by kabic 2 Quote
Neira Posted January 17, 2024 Report Posted January 17, 2024 On their website photos it looks like the budget bracket has a “D10” marked into it and the non-budget bracket has “F15” marked on it. Quote
Solution 50 coupe Posted January 17, 2024 Solution Report Posted January 17, 2024 (edited) You may need to contact them. They are under new management in the past year so looks like they offer different conversion kits than in the past. I installed one of their conversion kits almost 10 years ago. Over time their kits and parts recommendations have changed based on what parts were affordable and commonly available at the time. So, what is on your car now may not be what they carry now. kabic Posted February 1, 2024 Author Report Posted February 1, 2024 (edited) I will probably have to call them if I want to to know. I crawled under the car again and one of them is marked DGE FXM..or maybe FXY...that last letter wasn't very readable. Edited February 1, 2024 by kabic Quote
