55 Fargo Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Sitting here on Halloween night, in the country no kids yet, the weather is cooler, but no snow, so it's good for the kids. Yesterday was 63 degrees here in Southern Manitoba, today it was 45 degrees, winter is around the corner. Maybe it's time to revive the " Winter In Manitoba' thread, nah you guys had enough I think..................Fred Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Fred, the kids in our area went out begging last Sunday between 1 & 4 PM, so we won't have any begging tonight. It's funny, but the last 10 years or so the wife and I would have to eat the candy ourself because we didn't have that many going around the neighborhood. So.......we only bought 4 bags of candy this year and based on previous years we should have had one bag left over. This year I think the whole city must have came around. We ran out by about 3 PM, so just turned off the porch light and shut the door. I know of at least about 18 kids that were imported to our area because they came from next door. They must have had the whole family and friends over there for the kids to go around in our neighborhood. I guess we'll have to buy 5 or 6 bags next year and hope we don't have to eat it ourself.
