Anybody w pics? Early/late camshaft gear differences

I have two camshafts, one from a 1948 Dodge (left), the other from a 1953 D46 block (right).  The gear on the 1953 cam looks thinner. I don't know if this is wear or just made that way.  Does anybody know about this and have pictures of later camshaft gears?
