BobT-47P15 Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 One band's rendition of that early rock tune written by Ike Turner. On You Tube. Has lots of nifty pictures of 50s Oldsmobiles all thru the song. Click on the link. In case you haven't discovered, there is a lot of music on You Tube, of all sorts. I usually put in the song and/or artist I'm looking for. Often several versions of the same song can be found. Pretty cool, actually. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 Bob, If you're looking for songs (old or new) try a Google search. Just type in the name of the song or the artist. It will bring up links to pages with not only the song you can listen to, but also the music and lyrics. In some cases where some other artist changed the lyrics, it brings it up too. Found one old song recently that had about 8 or 10 different sets of lyrics for it, from different artist. Those pages load much faster than Utube too because they don't play the music until you select the song, plus there is no video to load, just the song and music. Quote
Normspeed Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 Neat arrangement Bob. I have that song by another group on an oldies car tape. Quote
Reg Evans Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 Yeah..great song! Did you listen to the Nelson Adelard and Mark Norris version? Quote
