moparfun Posted December 4, 2021 Report Posted December 4, 2021 Working on a 1954 Plaza wagon, it has been siting for about 20 years so some valves were stuck and had other issues so got the motor running nice and smooth. I had to pull the head and manifolds off to get the valves dialed in. Carb rebuild distributor rebuild new fuel pump new water pump. The fuel tank was pretty crusty so I had it boiled out, had already ordered a new sending unit (MoparPro), the new unit has a one wire connection and the original has a two wire connection. I went to the service manual and wiring diagram and it shows a one wire set up. So I called MoparPro at 4:30 on Friday not only did he answer the phone but was very help full with a lot of information. It is a rare sending unit used in wagons, I think the old one will work just clean the crud off a use a new float and it did ohmn out good. Quote
