Guest Dave Claussen Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 Just cracked the cover on my Vintage Truck magazine and there are a couple of Dodges in it. One story on a '35 Dodge KCL 1/2 ton long bed with some good pics. Also another story about an ongoing resto of a '47 WD-15. The classifieds have a couple of trucks for sale, too. A '46 with a box bed (looks like a 1 1/2 ton or bigger), and a '42 COE cab and chassis with a frozen flathead 6. Ad says it would make a good custom car hauler. So far this magazine beats Classic Truck on the number of Dodge truck articles hands down. Lots of other interesting stories on a wide variety of makes of trucks. CT is really stuck on F**d and Ch**y. It's only evry other month but it's been worth the wait for every issue so far. Just my 2 1/2 cents worth. Quote
anthonyb Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Guess there's so many Dodge articles cuz the editor is the one restoring the WD-15. Would really like to see more Pilot-House trucks though. Not that I'm prejudiced or anything..... Quote
Guest Dave Claussen Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Anthony, I couldn't agree more, some PH's would be nice. By the way, what color is your truck? Is that a version of the popular "copper orange" color that I see on some present day cars and trucks? Looks nice. I've had that color in mind for my B3C when the time comes for paint. Dave Quote
anthonyb Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 It's a Dodge color called Amberfire Pearlcoat. Quote
David Muma Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 In the October 2007 issue of Custom Classic Trucks there is restored B-2-B Deluxe cab featured on page 82 and a 1940 Plymouth 1/2 ton truck, in need of some TLC, on page 90. Quote
