1954 Windshield Gasket

Hello all.  

 

I have a '54 Dodge Meadowbrook and am trying to track down a usable windshield gasket.  I talked to Steele, Bernbaum's, and Clester's and no luck.  In fact, Bernbaun's told me that they aren't aware of any aftermarket suppliers that offer a windshield gasket for a '54 2-Door Coupe (Clester's does make a gasket for a Hardtop/Convertible).  My questions are:

 

1) Does anyone have any ideas on where to look for a windshield gasket for a '54 Dodge 2-Door Meadowbrook?  

 

2) For those '54 car owners who have faced with this same challenge, did you ever find a suitable solution?  If yes, please share details.
