Whilst I don't have any direct experience with a 1939 Dodge Pickup the headlight switch pictured is similar to that used in my 1940 Dodge Sedan, although the power in on mine is thru a fuse located on the end of the switch itself.........the sockets are normally for headlight, front parking light and tailight, plus dash instrument lights and possibly a power take off............from your question I assume you don't have a workshop manual..............have you checked this question on the Truck side of this forum?............Welcome aboard anyway from Oztralia......Andy Douglas
