oldmopar Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Last Weekend I went to look at a 52 Plymouth. I did not need another car but somehow the car followed me home. Below is a few pics the came with most of the trim and the rear fenders just need to put it back together. Interesting filter setup it was converted to a spin on oil filter Ed Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Ed, that car looks pretty nice, actually. Looks as if the interior has been re-done. Body appears real straight. Should be a pretty good item, I'd say. Might get some more detailed pics of how that oil filter converter is installed. Is there a brand name on it? Any idea where it came from? Looks kind of handy. oldmopar Posted September 30, 2007 Author Report Posted September 30, 2007 Bob, it is a clean car seats and door panels redone body is good even the rockers and floors look solid also see new brake lines and mc. It will be about a month until I can get the car in my garage and go over it but it looks like a keeper. I took a close up of the oil filter set up did not see a manufactures name but will look closer when I have the filter off Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Not a bad looking car Ed. BobT: Those spin on conversions are listed in the street rod and custom parts catalogs at places like Speedway, etc. So they are easy to get. Quote
62rebelP23 Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 looks better than my own '52 Cambridge. very nice! your side trim is different; looks narrow compared to mine. nice find! Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 Well, I suppose that stick on trim would be better than none at all. It comes in lots of styles and widths I think. Quote
oldmopar Posted October 3, 2007 Author Report Posted October 3, 2007 Bob, I don't really like the stick on stuff. I will pull it when I can problem is the paint will come with it. I'm pretty sure I have some fender trim for a 49 Plymouth or I owned a while back I think it is a little different but will look better then the stick on stuff. Also may have some spare P15 trim maybe I can do some trading. Ed Quote
