dual master cylinder conversion

I just got an ECI master cylinder conversion kit for my 54. Unfortunately, the setup does not work with the Powerflite. The crossmember interferes. I am waiting on a call from their engineer to see if they have anything that will fit. If not, and they will not accept a return, I will probably have a 49-54 conversion kit for sale to recoup some of my cost.

Does anyone else on the forum have a powerflite and a dual m/c conversion?

I don't know if that kit really fits anything. I bought it for my Wayfarer with fluid drive manual and it also didn't fit. The offered to take mine back, but I kept it thinking that I can make if fit this fall (I have an idea...)

If memory serves, doesn't the ECI web site say that you have to specify what transmission you are using when you order the master cylinder conversion kit?

You are right, it does say that, and I was sure to clarify for the sales rep that it had the powerflite.
