Thomba48 Posted February 4, 2019 Report Posted February 4, 2019 Hi, I did poste this question already in another thread that I have highjacked. Sorry for that. "Just wondering, does anybody know what the original colour definition was for the convertible top frame itself for a 1949 Plymouth?". My manual does not give me any hints regarding this subject matter. thanks/ Thom Quote
blucarsdn Posted February 4, 2019 Report Posted February 4, 2019 As a general rule the convertible top iron were pained a taup / medium tan color. I had the top irons for my '39 Plym conv powder coated in a tan color, they look great. The original bolts are special shoulder bolts, they were originally chrome plated, I had new bots made out of stainless steel. Quote
Thomba48 Posted February 4, 2019 Author Report Posted February 4, 2019 Thank you very much. That is rather helpful indeed. Thom Quote
